Donald R. Franson III is an associate in our Redwood City office. His practice focuses on appellate, insurance coverage and bad faith litigation.  Prior to joining Hayes, Scott, Bonino, Ellingson & McLay, LLP, Mr. Franson served as an extern to the Honorable James A. Ardaiz, Presiding Justice of the Fifth District Court of Appeal.

Mr. Franson is licensed to practice before all courts of the State of California, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern Districts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Mr. Franson earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado in 2007.  He received his J.D. from Hastings College of the Law in 2011.  He was admitted to the California Bar that same year.
