Adolfo A. Podrecca was born in Rome, Italy, and is fluent in Italian and Spanish. He joined the firm in 1985 and has been a partner since 1991. He received his B.A. from Missouri State University in 1969, and received his masters degree from the University of Florida in 1971. In 1973, Mr. Podrecca graduated with honors from the University of Florida School of Law, where he received American Jurisprudence Book Awards, and was a honored as a member of the Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Alpha Theta legal fraternities. In 1982, Mr. Podrecca was honorably discharged as captain in the United States Army Reserves. He is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. Mr. Podrecca has tried in excess of 250 jury trials. He is a member of the Florida Bar, Trial Lawyers Section, the American Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, the American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTA”), the National Italian-American Bar Association, and the Broward County Hispanic Bar Association. Mr. Podrecca has been Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a Specialist in Civil Trial Law since l988, and is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Arbitrator. Mr. Podrecca is also a past director of the Order of the Sons of Italy in America, UNICO National, and the Dante Alighieri Society.
