Franklin, Charles

Laura graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 2012, earning a juris doctorate degree. While attending law school, Laura clerked at GoldenbergLaw, assisting the firm with legal research, client communication and the completion of discovery documents. She also received Dean’s List honors and the Cali Award in Criminal Law, Estates and Trusts and Misdemeanors Clinic. She was a competitor in the Ruby Vale Corporate Law Moot Court Competition where she received honorable mention for best oral argument. She additionally interned at the Minneapolis Government Center in the Self-Help Legal Center aiding low income individuals with legal needs, and worked with two Twin Cities non-profits, helping to bring better public transportation and health services to Minnesota residents. She also worked for the Minnesota House of Representatives on the Public Safety and Finance Committee completing legal research for bill preparation.

Currently Laura handles products liability, dangerous drug and personal injury claims at GoldenbergLaw, PLLC. She specializes in metal-on-metal hip failures.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys reading and running. In fact, she recently completed two marathons- The Twin Cities Marathon in 2010 and the New Orleans Marathon in 2011.
