Mayra Cuello is an Associate based in the Firm's Houston office, and handles matters Statewide. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Cuello was an attorney at large multi-national law firms representing Fortune 500 companies in Labor and Employment matters. She now brings this experience to individuals and small businesses.

Ms. Cuello's practice focuses on the representation of employees in all aspects of labor and employment litigation before federal and state courts and administrative agencies. She is experienced in handling employment discrimination matters, severance issues, wage and hour collective actions, and non-compete matters. She also assists small businesses stay in compliance.

Ms. Cuello received her undergraduate degree from Rice University, and her law degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Mayra is proud to do pro bono work for Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), which is a national non-profit organization dedicated to finding representation for children in immigration removal proceedings. And, she is a board member of KIPP Pals, an organization dedicated to assisting the Knowledge is Power Program charter schools in Houston.

Ms. Cuello is fluent in Spanish and can assist clients accordingly.
