Fox, Garrick Neal

Patience Crozier is a principal of Kauffman Crozier LLP. Polly's practice focuses on all areas of family law, particularly adoption, divorce, dissolution, prenuptial agreements, domestic partnership agreements, assisted reproductive technology, paternity and guardianship. Polly has represented clients in trial and appellate courts of Massachusetts.

Prior to Kauffman Crozier LLP, Polly worked as an associate and, later, a partner at the Law Office of Joyce Kauffman, served as a law clerk to the Justices of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court and as law clerk to the Honorable Irma S. Raker of the Maryland Court of Appeals.

In addition to her law practice, Polly has served as co-chair and board member of the Mass LGBTQ Bar Association, on the Steering Committee of the Boston Bar Association's Family Law Section, as an appointed member of the MBA/BBA Joint Alimony Task Force, as a mentor lawyer for Massachusetts Transgender Legal Advocates and as a volunteer lawyer for Senior Partners for Justice. Polly also speaks and writes frequently on topics related to her work, most recently in a chapter in GLAD's book Transgender Family Law: A Guide to Effective Advocacy.

Polly is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York. She has been honored with the Boston College Law School Recent Graduate Award (2010) and the Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly Up and Coming Lawyer Award (2010). She has been recognized by the National LGBT Bar Association as a Top LGBT Lawyer Under 40 (2011) and by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2009, 2010 and 2011. Polly earned her J.D. magna cum laude from Boston College Law School and her B.A. with distinction from Yale University. Originally from the Boston area, Polly also attended the Winsor School.
