Jonah L. Pine is a Senior Partner at Williams & Pine, LLC.
A native of Atlanta, Jonah attended the University of Georgia, where he received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He graduated summa cum laude with high honors, was Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi and a Golden Key recipient. He was a member of the Omicron chapter of AEPi, where he spent much of his time observing many of the offenses for which he now represents his clients.
Jonah attended the University of Georgia School of Law, where he proudly served as the President of his class. He ranked first in his class in Criminal Law, and assisted Criminal and Juvenile law guru Professor Sam Davis as his research assistant.
Jonah moved to Savannah in 1996 and quickly honed his expertise in Criminal and Domestic litigation at the law firm of Barr, Warner, Lloyd and Henifin. His politics just left of Ghandi’s, Jonah developed a reputation as a fierce champion of his clients’ rights and liberties in the face of “government gone wild.” In 2004 he founded his own law firm with Wallace J. Williams. Jonah prides himself in his commitment and accessibility (Call him now at (912) 659-0530 and he’ll probably answer on the same outdated flip phone he’s been using for years). He continues to savor the opportunity to serve as the Constitution’s defender against the enemies of the freedoms it protects.
Jonah balances the intensity of his legal practice with the fulfillment of family devotion and service to the Savannah community. He is the proud father of two children born of his loving wife Amy of the esteemed Savannah Karpf family. Jonah is a board member of the Salvation Army and previously served on the boards of the Inner City Night Shelter and the Interfaith Hospitality Network.
