Warren A. “Chip” Forstall graduated from the University of New Orleans in 1975 and received his law degree from Loyola University in 1979. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts and the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Chip lives in New Orleans with his wife, Michelle Poirier Forstall. He has three children.

He is also legal counsel for the Executive Board of the Southeast Louisiana Council Boy Scouts of America and is Chairman of Digital Opportunity Trust, USA, a non-profit association for the enhancement of technology to teachers in the Louisiana and Mississippi Public Schools.
