Don Craven has served as General Counsel to the Illinois Press Associaiton and the Illinois Broadcasters Associaiton for 25 years. He practices across the state of Illinois, representing newspapers and broadcasters in a wide variety of litigation, from FOIA and access issues, to lilbel and privacy defense, to quashing subpoenas to reporters. He has also represented the Press Association and the Illinois State Bar Association in litigation relating to the constitutionality of Illinois legislation. The firm also represents a set of firefighter pension boards throughout Central and Southern Illinois, and maintains a general business practice in Springfield
