Richard Perrin returned to Dickstein Shapiro in 1995 as counsel in the Complex Dispute Resolution Practice. Mr. Perrin previously was with Dickstein Shapiro, where he began as an associate in 1974, and became a partner in 1981. During his first tour with the firm, Mr. Perrin initially was engaged in general litigation, but his practice became focused on business and corporate securities transactions. He left the firm in 1984 to form his own firm focusing on corporate transactions and business ventures involving financial institutions. His current practice at Dickstein Shapiro involves insurance litigation and arbitrations, energy litigation, and insurance coverage negotiation and recovery matters. He is a member of the firm's Electronic Discovery Steering Committee and works with major companies including AT&T, Baxter Healthcare Corporation, Duke Energy, General Motors, and Pfizer.
