Bret has extensive experience litigating franchise, intellectual property, non-compete, and other commercial disputes in state and federal court. Bret also has experience structuring new and existing franchise systems, establishing and administering national franchise compliance programs, counseling franchisors regarding registration and disclosure laws, and assisting franchisors with relationship and termination issues. Prior to joining Kaufmann Gildin Robbins & Oppenheim, LLP, Bret clerked for the United States Magistrate Judge Frances H. Stacey and United States District Judge Melinda Harmon.
