Mosby's practice focuses on energy with a concentration on regulatory and transactional matters that affect companies in the electric and gas industries. Prior to joining Jones Day, Mosby worked as an attorney-advisor for the Office of General Counsel at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). While at FERC, he focused on transactional matters and a wide range of market issues in the Southeast, the PJM, and the Midwest ISO. Mosby worked on rulemakings in the corporate arena, reviewed mergers and acquisitions, and assisted the FERC on its review of incentives for regional transmission projects designed to bring clean energy to market.
Mosby is a member of the Energy Bar Association and serves on the Climate Change and Emissions Committee. He is also a mentor for Capital Partners for Education, an organization that provides high school students with scholarships, adult mentors, and academic support as they prepare for college.
