Ellen Fine is an experienced bankruptcy attorney whose focus at Miller & Miller is client relations and marketing. Her goal is to help alleviate the stress involved in getting your case started by answering questions, listening to your individual circumstances and presenting you with viable bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy alternatives. She has filed hundreds of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases and is very familiar with the requirements for filing, eligibility, necessary paperwork and what problems bankruptcy will and will not solve. She can also assist you after your initial consultation to ensure that your concerns are being addressed and that the filing process is understandable. Ms. Fine earned her law degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2004, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and with honors. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, where she was a member of the national honor society Phi Beta Kappa. Attorney Fine was raised in the Midwest but has lived and worked in Southern California, Southern Florida and New York City.  She returned to Wisconsin to practice law and has specialized in bankruptcy since 2007.  Ms. Fine was admitted to the Wisconsin State bar in 2004, and to the Eastern District of Wisconsin in 2007. She is also a long-time member of the Wisconsin State Bar’s Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Creditor’s Rights Section. 

Prior to law school Ellen worked in advertising, the music industry and interior design. A long-time love and hobby, Ellen still enjoys revitalizing homes on a budget through furniture rearrangement and the creation of one-of-a-kind elements. She spends the rest of her free time with her husband and four-year old son, as well as roller skating, rummage sale hunting and listening to all types of music.
