Originally from San Jose California, Michael E. Cordrey, graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2001. He received has undergraduate degree in Political Science, with distinction, from San Diego State University.
During law school, Michael had the opportunity to study abroad, and attended classes at the Universitat de Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain, and Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Michael also served an internship with the San Diego County Office of the Alternate Public Defender.
Michael is admitted to the State Bar of Arizona and the State Bar of California. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Arizona as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. His practice is primarily dedicated to handling divorce, custody, paternity, child support establishment and enforcement, grandparent's visitation and other Domestic Relations matters.
Michael and is wife, Corrie, recently celebrated the arrival of their first child, a son named Raiden, which means "lightning and thunder" in Japanese. Mrs. Cordrey is an Occupational Therapist and works with special-needs children. Michael and Corrie attend Christ's Church of the Valley in Peoria, Arizona and participate in a small Bible-study group with others from CCV. In his limited spare time, Michael enjoys training in Shotokan Karate.
