Bill Coquillette's corporate law practice focuses on complex mergers, acquisitions, and financings and, for more than two decades, a substantial portion of his practice has focused on representing private equity funds, management groups, and other parties in connection with leveraged buyouts and venture capital transactions. In addition, having served as a director for several companies, including an NYSE company, he counsels boards and investors on a variety of corporate governance issues.
Recently, Bill was the lead outside M&A lawyer on the sale of The North American Manufacturing Company to Fives SA, the purchase by Primus Capital of HMS, and the sale by Axcelis Technologies of its Japanese joint venture.
Bill's public service efforts include 30 years of involvement in the Cleveland Foodbank, of which he is currently board president. He also is president of the Association of Marshall Scholars.
