Paul "Chip" Ferguson is Board Certified in personal injury trial law and has specialized in personal injury and products liability cases over the entire course of his legal career. He has litigated cases across the United States involving diverse matters including industrial accidents, automobile collisions, 18-wheeler liability, automotive products liability, commercial products liability, asbestos and other toxic torts, and general negligence cases.
Ferguson is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the International Society of Barristers, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Ferguson also belongs to both the Texas Bar Foundation and the College of the State Bar of Texas and has been selected for inclusion in Texas Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, Texas Monthly in each year which that magazine has bestowed such recognition (2003-present). Chip Ferguson is also rated AV-Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell, the highest rank available and a testament to the lawyer's reputation among peers as fellow attorneys determine the ranking.
Ferguson is a former baseball player at Rice University, was inducted into the Rice Hall of Fame as the 2003 recipient of the R Award. He also received the inaugural Q award from West End Little League, honoring his quality sportsmanship in youth sports. The outdoor sports complex at All Saints Episcopal School is named in his honor, as is the press box at Rice University's baseball stadium, Reckling Park.
