Duncan Connelly is an associate in the Estate Planning group, where his practice focuses on advising clients on tax and non-tax aspects of inter-vivos and testamentary estate planning and wealth transfer strategies, and drafting a full range of estate planning documents including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. Duncan also advises trustees and personal representatives on trust and estate administration, and on non judicial dispute resolution. As a member of the Native American industry group, Duncan has experience with Tribal legal issues such as estate planning for Native American individuals and advising on Tribal probate codes.

As a member of the Business group, Duncan assists clients with the formation of entities such as limited liability companies and non-profit corporations, as well as with a wide range of tax issues. He is well versed in assisting clients in obtaining recognition of tax-exempt status under Section 501(c), having obtained tax-exempt determinations for non-profit entities as public charities, social welfare organizations, business associations, and governmental instrumentalities. Duncan's business practice also involves assisting startup companies with corporate formation, structuring, financing, and tax issues. As a member of the Yacht and Aircraft industry group at Foster Pepper, Duncan represents yacht owners in a range of issues related to the yacht industry, including purchase and sale, flagging, and regulatory compliance issues.
