A passion for law and justice began early for John. He learned early the value of hard work, determination and education. This strong foundation aided his success at Yale University, Duke University School of Law, as a preeminent trial attorney at the Chester County District Attorney and now as an advocate, a consummate professional and important asset in our arsenal in our client's defense at Ciccarelli Law Offices.

A lifelong resident of Chester County, he was born at Bryn Mawr Hospital, grew up in Paoli and Malvern; attended local public schools, and graduated from Great Valley Senior High School in 1973; before attending Yale University. A student athlete he excelled both in his studies and in track; and further his education at the prestigious Duke University School of Law. At Duke he was selected to the Duke Law Journal where he rose to the Editorial Board.

After garnering legal experience in the private sector, his passion for justice led him to a rewarding career as a prosecutor in the Chester County District Attorney's office and as a formidable Criminal Defense Lawyer, where he has achieved significant successful outcomes among his approximately sixty (60) jury trials.

John is a true believer in the need for justice; and that means providing justice to the accused. John feels very strongly that everyone is innocent until proven guilty, and he strives to be a zealous advocate for each and every client to make sure the criminal justice system is fair and just. John is sensitive to the need to protect your civil rights.
