Shamir Patel joined the Washington, DC office of Dickstein Shapiro in October 2004 and currently is an associate in the Government Contracts Practice and the False Claims Act Investigations and Defense Practice. His practice focuses on advising clients, specifically in the healthcare industry, on complex civil litigations in response to federal Department of Justice and State Attorneys General investigations and qui tam suits. He also provides counseling to government contractors on wide-ranging issues across various federal agencies related to compliance, procurement, and litigation.
