Elizabeth Connell received her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado and her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law.
Ms. Connell began her career as a trial attorney for the Maryland Public Defender's Office in Baltimore City. She gained extensive experience in defending clients accused of serious drug offenses, homicides and other violent crimes. Her reputation as an aggressive and effective litigator earned her the nickname "Little Ace" by the Baltimore City Bench & Bar.
After moving to Colorado, Ms. Connell continued her service in helping indigent clients
as a Colorado State Public Defender assigned to Denver and Jefferson County where she
continued to hone her litigation practice and trial advocacy skills. She has tried over 40
felony cases in her career and has advocated on the behalf of hundreds of clients.
She believes that every client deserves the very best representation, no matter what type of
case they have, and she is committed to providing the highest level of legal counsel for every client. Unlike many attorneys, Ms. Connell will never provide a "cookie cutter" defense for any
of her clients. Instead, each defense is tailored to the unique circumstances of the case, from
pre-trial to trial.
