Frank A. Parks co-founded the firm in 1973, and focused his litigation practice in medical malpractice defense litigation.  While practicing, htook more than 150 jury trials to verdict, primarily in medical negligence cases.

He was admitted to the Arizona Bar in 1965, U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona in 1965, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit in 1966.

Frank is a member of the Arizona Bar Association, American Academy of Hospital Attorneys, Federation of Insurance and Corporate Counsel, Maricopa County Bar Association, Arizona Bar Foundation, Arizona Association of Defense Counsel (Board of Directors), American College of Trial Lawyers, Arizona Civil Practice and Procedure Committee 1969-1972, Maricopa County Superior Court, Ad Hoc Committee on Medical Malpractice (1976), and Phoenix Memorial Hospital Foundation (Past Board Member).

He served as president of Sanders & Parks from 1973 until 1984. He is listed in the Best Lawyers of America as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Arizona and is listed in Who's Who in Arizona Law . He was the recipient of the 1999 Arizona Medical Association Distinguished Service Award.

As an active public speaker, Frank has lectured before many professional organizations, including the Arizona Medical Association, the Arizona State Bar Association, Maricopa County Bar Association, Arizona Association of Defense Counsel, and Arizona Trial Lawyers Association. In addition, he has participated as a lecturer for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.

After admission to the Arizona State Bar in 1965, he served as an Assistant Attorney General until he joined the O'Connor, Cavanagh, Anderson, Westover, Killingsworth & Beshears law firm in 1967. While at the Arizona Attorney General's Office, he represented the State of Arizona before the United States Supreme Court in In Re: Gault . This landmark case, argued during the October of 1966 term, established constitutional due process rights of juveniles, including the right to counsel during juvenile court proceedings.
