Mark D. Coldiron has handled numerous litigation cases of all sizes under CERCLA, RCRA, CWA, CAA, state authorities, and oil and gas regulations. These projects have included CERCLA remedy litigation against DOJ in USA v. Hardage , defense of citizen suits under RCRA, CWA and CAA, arbitration of CERCLA cost contribution actions, RCRA site construction contractor disputes, and natural gas storage failures, defense of criminal violations under the CWA and SDWA, and various negotiated settlements. Effective at working alongside project management and counsel, Coldiron’s practice has involved serving as lead counsel on various permitting, enforcement, remediation and natural resource damage matters. This work has involved negotiating numerous state and federal consent orders, permit conditions, remediation plans and risk-based closures. His practice also encompasses water quality, stormwater, groundwater and other water rights issues.
