Emily Colantino represents institutional investors, funds, energy companies, and a wide variety of private and public companies with respect to transactional and real estate matters.
Emily's recent representations include advising on the formation of a fund to invest in the acquisition of land and distressed debt. She also advised E.ON AG on its $1.9 billion acquisition of the North American wind development business of Airtricity. On an ongoing basis, she counsels Highcross Group Limited regarding its U.K. value-added funds and LaSalle Investment Management with respect to its fund that invests in Mexico; assists KeyCorp with its leases, acquisitions, and dispositions; and advises OGE Energy Corp. on its engineering, procurement, and construction contracts. She also assists clients with refinancings and restructurings.
Emily's pro bono activities include providing legal counsel to AVODAH: the Jewish Service Corps, an organization for young adults engaged in anti-poverty work.
