Robert S. Cohen, the most senior attorney at GWC&B, brings over 40 years of experience to bear on a multitude of client legal problems and specializes in handling legal banking issues of banking and financial transactions, real estate development and financing, construction, land use, administrative law, municipal law, business consultation, commercial, corporate and business law.  He has participated in countless real estate zoning, eminent domain and land use cases. He has negotiated resolution of numerous construction disputes with the State of Illinois and its Capitol Development Board and Central Management Services Department, and local municipalities.

For several years, Bob has represented as special counsel various departments of the City of Springfield including the city's electrical utility, City Water Light & Power.
