Kerri Cody graduated from Villanova University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Business. During the entire course of her studies at Villanova, Kerri spent the summers working at a law firm in southern New Jersey that predominantly handled personal injury and civil litigation matters. After graduation, Kerri remained at Villanova where she earned a Juris Doctor from the Villanova University Law School in 1995.
In 1996, Kerri opened the doors of her private law practice in Hammonton, New Jersey with a focus in the areas of personal injury, civil litigation, commercial transactions and real estate. Since that time she has successfully litigated numerous contested Federal and State cases, including civil actions brought against individuals, corporate entities, municipalities and government agencies.
In 2005, Kerri was appointed as conflicts solicitor for the Town of Hammonton, and in that position handled a myriad of municipal legal issues, including supervision of the contract and bidding process for the construction of a new multi-million dollar municipal complex.
In January 2009, Kerri was appointed to the position of solicitor for Mullica Township, New Jersey. In that capacity, Mrs. Cody is responsible for giving wise counsel to the Mayor, Township Committee and Township Employees, drafting resolutions and ordinances, and performing all other duties and functions of the chief legal officer of the Township.
Kerri's husband Douglas Cody is an attorney with the law firm.
