Serving as lead counsel in numerous patent and trademark infringement litigations, he has also drafted and negotiated patent and trademark license agreements, and has argued numerous patent cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences in the United States Patent Office. His experience extends to the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in a variety of technologically diverse areas including light steel framing, medical devices, oil recovery systems and processes, packaging equipment and process for packaging. He currently manages an international water and wastewater treatment practice focusing on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications throughout the world on biological and chemical treatment, ballasted flocculation, membrane filtration, magnetic seeding and separation.
