Jake Cline, a native of the Bay Area, graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1999 with a degree in environmental studies and a degree in geography. After working in two San Francisco law offices, he resumed his studies at Golden Gate University, School of Law. He graduated in 2004 with a Juris Doctorate. At Golden Gate School of Law he was on the Moot Court Board, was a semi-finalist in the November 2003 Appellate Advocacy Competition, and received a CALI, Excellence for the Future Award in Wills & Trusts. He was admitted to the California Bar in June 2005. He is an active member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the Bankruptcy Section of the Alameda County Bar Association.
Jake has been chosen by LawReviewCle, which is a national provider of seminars for attorneys. In the course, Jake teaches attorneys how to assist bankruptcy clients who are behind on their home loan payments and are facing foreclosure. He also explains how a second loan can be removed in a chapter 13 case.
