Allan J. Eurek has been in private practice as an attorney since 1982, and his office is located in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he founded the law firm of Allan J. Eurek Law Offices, P.C. in 1995. He is admitted to practice law before all Nebrsaka State Courts, the U.S. District Court, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He practices before all Nebraska State Agencies, Boards and Commissions, and local government bodies. He is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association and has served on the Association’s Real Estate Practice Guidelines Committee for over ten years. He is also a long time member of its Real Estate, Bankruptcy and Natural Resources Sections, and served as Chairman of the Real Estate Section in 2003. Mr. Eurek is a member of the American Bar Association and its section on Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law, and Tort and Insurance Practice.

He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy where he received his B.S. in Business Management. He received his J.D. in 1982 from the University of Nebraska College of Law where he was selected as a member of the honorary Moot Court Board based on outstanding academic achievement.

Mr. Eurek has substantial litigation experience in all types of real estate cases, including those involving title and boundary disputes, easement disputes, foreclosures, lien priorities, adverse possession, construction defects, failure to disclose home defects, and commercial lease disputes. He has also litigated will and trust contests and estate claim disputes. Mr. Eurek has extensive experience in both drafting and reviewing real estate transactional documents of all types, such as purchase agreements and leases, and has developed a particular expertise in landlord tenant matters, having served as local counsel to national shopping center owners and local commercial and residential real estate management companies.

He assists in the formation of small businesses offering advice on selection of the proper limited liability entity, tax considerations and financing. Mr. Eurek continues to assist business clients after formation to ensure that the business continues its limited liability protection and remains in good standing. He protect their interests when debtors of the business seek to discharge their obligations through Bankruptcy and when necessary, he has helped faltering businesses attempt to reorganize and continue operations under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code. He helps persons injured through negligence or at work receive fair compensation.

Mr. Eurek served as an officer in the United States Navy, and completed a career in the U.S. Naval Reserve, retiring with the rank of Commander. Mr. Eurek was appointed by Nebraska’s Governor to serve as a member of the Nebraska State Personnel Board, and the Nebraska State Racing Commission. He has been active in Lincoln community affairs, assisting with the High School Mock Trial Competition and Law Day programs, and Nebraska Boys State leadership training. He has served on the Board of Directors and as President of Retired and Disabled Citizens, Inc., and as Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council. He is an active member of Rotary Club 14, in downtown Lincoln.
