Evans, Frank M.

With over 40 years of litigation experience, Reid Ervin is one of the leading employment law attorneys in Virginia. He represents and advises clients on a wide variety of employment law matters through litigation, mediation, and administrative proceedings. He also represents the rights of children and their parents through school law proceedings.

Armed with his years of experience, Mr. Ervin has a particular niche for advising executive and management employees and officials facing disciplinary and adverse action investigations and other issues in the workplace. He has been perennially recognized for his work in employment law by among others, Virginia Business Elite, Superlawyers of Virginia and the Hampton Roads Region. Mr. Ervin has presented on numerous occasions on a variety of Employment Law and School Law topics.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Ervin received his A.B. from Duke University in 1966 and his L.L.B. from University of Virginia School of Law in 1969. He served during the Vietnam War as a Navy JAG Officer. He is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, Norfolk-Portsmouth Bar Association, the Virginia Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Mr. Ervin is admitted to practice in all Virginia courts, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
