Joe Cleveland joined Brackett & Ellis in 1992 after completing a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Eldon B. Mahon, Senior United States District Judge for the Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division. His practice primarily consists of representing clients in a broad range of complex commercial litigation in state and federal court involving patent infringement, copyright infringement, trademark infringement, antitrust, misappropriation of trade secrets, contract disputes, employment disputes, oil and gas, securities, and other commercial cases. He also represents clients in professional malpractice, mass tort, and products liability litigation. Mr. Cleveland has tried civil cases in both state and federal courts and has handled appeals before the United States Supreme Court and various Circuit Courts. He has been selected by his peers as a leading lawyer in "Best Lawyer's in America," recognized by Texas Monthly as a "Texas Super Lawyer" in Business Litigation and by Fort Worth Magazine as a "Top Attorney." Mr. Cleveland has been rated AV® Preeminent™ by Martindale-Hubble Peer Review Ratings denoting the highest level of professional excellence and adherence to very high ethical standards (2001 to present).
