Bethany was raised in a military family, taking the best of those experiences with her as she pursued her legal career. She graduated, summa cum laude, from Tarleton State University with her undergraduate degree in political science. During that time she completed an internship program through the office of the presiding judge of the Erath County Court at Law. Prior to her acceptance, with a full scholarship, to Baylor School of Law, Bethany pursued her interest in the law by serving as a legal assistant at Lewellen Law.
While completing her law degree, Bethany distinguished herself scholastically and by her participation in Baylor and national moot court tournaments. She also was selected to serve as Senior Executive Editor of the Baylor Law Review, prior to graduating magna cum laude with her Doctor of Jurisprudence, in 2006.
Upon receiving her law degree, Bethany was recruited by a Fort Worth law firm, where she remained employed until her return to Lewellen Law.
Bethany is licensed to practice law in all Texas courts, as well as in the United States District Court, Northern District of Texas. Her litigation and family law practice covers all of North Central Texas.
Professionally, Bethany is an active member in the Texas Bar Association, as well as the 2011 President of the Erath County Bar Association. She also serves Faith Lutheran Church as a council member and Sunday School teacher, and is a member of the Board of Education for Faith School.
