Robert Ernst is a California native. He has practiced, primarily in real estate law, but also in civil litigation in Monterey County since 1982. Ernst is a past recipient of the Barrister public service award given by the State Bar of California. He has served the community in the Sunrise Rotary Club of Monterey, and has been involved with several educational institutions. Ernst is the past chairman of the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District. He serves as a board member for the Pacific Research Institute of San Francisco, and the Salvatori Center at Claremont McKenna College, Claremont, CA. A writer, Ernst has authored several articles on law and public policy.
