Brian Clark is a 1990 graduate of the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. He is licensed as an attorney in Nevada and California (inactive) and in all the federal courts in both states. He is also licensed in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Brian has been a resident of Southern Nevada for more than 20 years and is active in his community, providing pro bono legal services through Nevada Legal Aid Center and to the local baseball little league, and participates regularly with neighborhood Boy Scout units.
In his professional career, Brian has been involved in a wide variety of legal issues. These include insurance defense and premises liability, family law (divorce, custody, adoptions), construction law (construction liens, defects), business law (contract formation, interpretation and enforcement); business dissolution litigation, employment law (wrongful termination, sexual harassment, age discrimination), professional (attorney) malpractice, oil and gas law, environmental law, mass tort litigation and personal injury law.
Brian has resolved many cases through trial, conducting successful jury trials in state and federal court. He has also had great success resolving cases through summary judgment and in mediations/settlement conferences. He was twice appointed by the City of Las Vegas to sit as a pro tern judge when the City of Las Vegas was conflicted from participating in cases, and served as a Small Claims Referee in the Las Vegas Justice Court hearing and deciding small claims court cases. He has also served as a private arbitrator and mediator.
Away from the office and courtroom, Brian enjoys time with his family. His interests include anthropology, archeology, indigenous peoples and customs, major league baseball, college football and exploring the United States' southwest. He also participated with a group to provide relief services in Haiti following the 2010 earthquake, visiting Haiti on three occasions.
