Megan received her bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Boston College in 2002.  After college, Megan was a member of AmeriCorps VISTA, working with foster teens residing in group homes in Paterson, New Jersey.  In addition to running after school programs for the teens, Megan also created the business plan for a transitional living facility for foster youth who age out of the system.  Megan graduated from Seton Hall University Law School in 2006.  In law school, Megan was president of the Public Interest Network and participated in the Housing and Homelessness Clinical Program, providing pro bono legal services to residents of Essex County who were homeless or in imminent danger of becoming homeless.  After graduating from Seton Hall, Megan was an associate at Sills, Cummis & Gross, P.C. in Newark, where she practiced commercial litigation and products liability defense at both the state and federal levels.  In 2008, Megan volunteered in Cape Town, South Africa, assisting refugees with obtaining legal status, and assisting refugees whose employment rights had been violated with presenting their cases before the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration.  In 2009, Megan served as a law clerk to the Hon. Robert J. Gilson, J.S.C. in the Sussex County Superior Court, Family Part.  Since 2010, Megan has concentrated her practice in family law, including divorce, post judgment matters, child support, custody and domestic violence issues.  She previously worked for the law firm of Albino, Ullmann, Laemers & Pompelio, LLC and the Law Office of Peter J. Laemers.  Megan is admitted to practice in New Jersey.  She is a current member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and Sussex County Bar Association.  She resides in Sparta, New Jersey.
