Mr. Emminger joined the firm in 2009 and has been actively engaged in the practice of trial advocacy since his admission to the bar in 1977. He has tried cases in New York State and Federal Courts involving automobile accidents, premises liability, fall downs due to defective conditions, dog bites, medical malpractice and construction site injuries.

Prior to joining the firm Mr. Emminger was a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and a member of the Executive Committee of one of the larger subcommittees dealing with insurance staff counsel programs across the country. He has also served as a Regional Director of Counsel for the Hartford Insurance Company and had direct oversight and management responsibility for trial lawyers in over 13 states, including New York and California. This has given him insight into the practices and procedures of the insurance industry and the impact they have on individuals he now represents.

Mr. Emminger brings to his clients empathy for their physical and emotional problems as well as an understanding of the ways the insurance industry works to limit recoveries both and outside the courtroom.

He is admitted to practice in all the courts of the State of New York as well as in the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and serves on several subcommittees. He is also a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association and the Albany County Bar Association. Furthermore, he has been actively engaged in the training of new attorneys and law students by membership in the Albany Law School Inns of Court and by serving as a judge for moot courts competitions at Albany Law School and the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law.
