Mr. Engle received his law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1976 and practiced law in Phoenix, Arizona, from 1976 until 1998. Mr. Engle relocated to Steamboat Springs, Colorado in 1996. Mr. Engle has served as President of the Routt County Bar Association and has twice been nominated to fill judicial openings in the 14th Judicial District. He is married to Susan M. Engle and has three grown children.
