JENNIFER CLAPP joined Grindle, Robinson, Goodhue and Frolin in 2005. She focuses her practice on all aspects of family law, including negotiating and drafting pre and postnuptial agreements and representing clients in divorce, child custody, support and paternity cases. In addition to her litigation practice, she is a trained family law mediator and frequently serves in a neutral capacity as a Guardian ad Litem in custody, guardianship and waiver of privilege cases.
Jennifer was voted a "Massachusetts Super Lawyers Rising Star" in 2010, 2011 and 2012. She is vice-chair of the Massachusetts Bar Association Family Law Section Council; on the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Chapter of AFCC; and an active member of the Massachusetts Association of Guardian ad Litems. Jennifer is published in the Family Mediation Quarterly and authored the family law chapter for the Massachusetts Bar Association’s “On Your Own” publication. In addition, she lectures on family law related subjects for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE), the Massachusetts Bar Association, and Boston College School of Social Work.
Jennifer is a graduate of Hiram College and the Washington College of Law at American University. Before joining Grindle, Robinson, Goodhue and Frolin, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Justices of the Probate and Family Court in Norfolk, Middlesex, Plymouth, Essex and Worcester counties. Jennifer appears regularly in Norfolk, Middlesex, Suffolk and Worcester counties.
