Nami Chun graduated cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She then received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2009. During law school, Ms. Chun served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Florence Marie Cooper of the United States District Court for the Central District of California and as a law clerk for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office. Ms. Chun also volunteered her time at various nonprofit legal aid organizations, including the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law, General Assistance Advocacy Program, and Asian Law Caucus.
After being admitted to the State Bar of California in December 2009, Ms. Chun joined Clayson, Mann, Yaeger & Hansen, where she practiced general civil litigation, with an emphasis on employment and business litigation. Her employment practice involved work for both employees and employers, including wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims.
Ms. Chun joined Kring and Chung in February 2012, where she practices employment and business litigation.
Ms.Chun is an active member of the Orange County Korean American Bar Association and is currently serving on their Board of Directors. In her spare time, Ms. Chun enjoys hiking, cycling, cooking, and traveling.
