Logan Elliott hails from Bradenton, Florida, and after graduating college and attaining his law degree, he has returned to his hometown where his practice focuses on elder law.
Logan received his Bachelor’s in Science in Political Science from Texas A&M University in 2007 where he was an active member of the Corps of Cadets. The Corps’ values of honor, integrity, discipline and selfless service continue to guide Logan in his practice of law. While attending Texas A&M, Logan was a recipient of the Academic Certificate in Leadership Studies and a member of the General O.R. Simpson Honor Society.
Logan earned his Juris Doctor from the Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2010. During law school, Logan took courses focused on elder law such as Wills, Trust & Estates, Taxation and Elder Law. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2010.
Logan's practice is focused in areas of guardianship, probate, VA benefits, and Medicaid Planning. Through thoughtful and deliberate planning, Logan helps his clients navigate the legal system, whether to protect an aging or disabled loved one, or to ensure his clients are financially secure in advance of life’s unexpected twists and turns.
Logan is accredited by the Veterans Administration to assist claimants in the preparation, presentation and prosecution of claims for benefits. He is also a member of Elder Counsel, and has successfully completed training courses in Long Term Care and Public Benefits Estate Planning, VA Aid and Attendance Pension Planning and Elder Care Planning. He is also a member of the Sarasota County and Manatee County Bar Associations, as well as a supporting member of the Manatee Chapter of Florida Association of Women Lawyers.
Logan has gained practical courtroom experience in guardianship matters by representing clients throughout all aspects of a guardianship case, including emergency temporary guardianship hearings, final guardianship hearings and various contested and uncontested motions which can arise throughout the course of a guardianship.
