Mr. Chopak has extensive experience in complex civil litigation matters, general casualty including personal injury, product liability, business litigation and public entity defense. Mr. Chopak has extensive trial experience with both bench and jury trials with more than 50 cases tried to verdict. He has participated in hundreds of mediations and arbitrations, and has presented at a number of conferences regarding litigation and insurance issues in both the construction defect and general liability areas. From 1981 until 1983 Mr. Chopak was a Deputy City Attorney with the City of San Diego in the prosecution division the following year in the Civil Litigation.
Mr. Chopak obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J. He received his Masters from Fordham University in New York and his Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California.
