Laura Z. Chester is an associate in the Litigation/Controversy Department. She joined the firm in 2011.
Past Experience
Prior to joining WilmerHale, Ms. Chester was a summer intern for the Department of Justice’s Computer Crime & Intellectual Property Section. While there, she wrote memoranda on the jurisdictional limits of the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, the use of video teleconference technology in courts and on electronic evidence discovery.
Community Involvement
As a volunteer for the Employment Law Clinic and the Volunteer Attorney Program, Ms. Chester interviewed new clients and prepared legal documents for pro bono cases.
Ms. Chester now serves on the Board of Directors for Shining Daughters, a nonprofit organization in California which provides mentoring and tutoring services to at-risk young women.
