Eichman, William R.

Jim is Of Counsel in the firm of Briggs and Morgan, Professional Association. He is based in our St. Paul office and is a member of the Public Finance Section. Jim practices principally in the area of municipal finance law.

Jim concentrates his practice in tax increment financing and municipal general obligation and revenue bonds. He has represented a number of state agencies, cities, housing and redevelopment authorities, and other local governmental units in these areas.

Jim was designated a "Super Lawyer" by Minnesota Law & Politics. He is a member of the Hennepin County and Minnesota State Bar associations and the National Association of Bond Lawyers.

Born in Iowa City, Iowa, Jim received his B.A. summa cum laude from St. John's University in Minnesota and his Masters of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts. He received his law degree cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School. Jim joined Briggs in 1988.
