Kevin O'Mahony joined Allen, McCain & O'Mahony in 2004 after being a partner in the Atlanta law firm of O'Mahony & Vancil, LLP, where he represented The Emory Clinic physicians, Emory University hospitals, other healthcare providers, and their insureds. Previously, he was counsel at the large Atlanta firms of Troutman Sanders and Drew Eckl & Farnham. Mr. O'Mahony obtained his law degree with honors from William & Mary in 1982. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Georgia and U.S. Supreme Court, is an arbitrator and mediator for the National Arbitration Forum, and has been a litigation and arbitration instructor for the American Institute of Paralegal Studies. He has earned an AV Preeminent Martindale Hubbell rating, and is an American Lawyer Media and Martindale-Hubbell Top Rated Lawyer in Health Care, a recipient of the American College of Trial Lawyers Medal for Excellence in Advocacy, and frequent seminar speaker and author of numerous articles on healthcare law, litigation and dispute resolution topics.
