Alicia M. O’Connell joined the firm in 2011, partnering with her father, Philip, at the practice he started over thirty years ago. Ms. O’Connell specializes in real estate conveyancing, the administration of estates, and elder law.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. O’Connell worked as an executive compensation and employee benefits associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP in New York, New York. Before attending law school, she worked in the non-profit sector in Washington, D.C. at national organizations focusing on women’s issues.
Ms. O’Connell is a graduate of Bowdoin College (B.A., 2001) and New York Law School (J.D., magna cum laude, 2008), where she was Articles Editor of the New York Law School Law Review and a John Harlan Marshall Scholar.
Ms. O’Connell is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and New York. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Worcester County Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
