Sylvia G. Eaves provides advice and counsel in special education, student discipline, policies, and training to help school district administrators comply with federal and state law while meeting the needs of the district's students.

Ms. Eaves has served as in-house counsel to one of the largest school districts in the State of Georgia and continues to work in the areas of student rights, open records, religious freedom, fair dismissal, and other areas of the law that may lead to litigation.

School districts face the potential of media and public outcry each day on student searches, First Amendment rights, trespassing, ADA, unruly parents, and more. With her extensive experience in dealing with these issues, Ms. Eaves provides school systems with sound, practical, proven advice on legal options and strategy.

Ms. Eaves was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1984 and the Georgia Bar in 1989.
