Gary A. Eaton graduated from the University of Tulsa, College of Engineering in 1971 with a B.S. degree in mechanical / petroleum engineering, and graduated from the University of Tulsa Law School with a J.D. degree in 1975.
He was admitted to the Oklahoma State Bar in July 1975, by the Oklahoma Supreme Court and has remained a member in good standing ever since. He has also been admitted to practice before several state courts including Arkansas, Missouri, Louisiana, and Tennessee.
He is now and has been admitted to the United States District Courts for Eastern District of Oklahoma, Northern District of Oklahoma and Western District of Oklahoma, for many years. He has also been admitted to practice before several other United States District Courts including the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, Southern District of Iowa, Western District of Louisiana, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, as well as the United States Circuit Courts of Appeal for the Third, Fifth, Eighth, and Tenth Circuits.
He is an AV rated lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell, and has lectured and spoken to lawyers' groups including the Oklahoma Bar Association and Oklahoma Trial Lawyers Association, physicians groups, and civic groups.
He is a partner in Eaton & Sparks in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and he and E.W. Sparks focus their practice areas of personal injury law, including product liability, medical negligence, motor vehicle collision, workers' compensation, and insurance cases. Gary A. Eaton is one of the few lawyers in Oklahoma who accept and prosecute ERISA cases for disability, health insurance, and life insurance benefits for claimants-plaintiffs.
