A 1995 Graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Law, Barbara has extensive court and trial experience and has negotiated divorce settlements and entertainment contracts with some of the top attorneys in St. Louis and nationwide. A member of the Missouri Bar and Entertainment Law Division of the American Bar Association, Barbara is a featured contributor to the new book by music author/commentator Moses Avalon, "Million Dollar Mistakes", has been quoted in Missouri Lawyer's Weekly, writes the legal column for Disclosure Newszine and has been a featured writer in The Urban Network Magazine. Prior to attending Law School, Barbara attended Crane School of Music at SUNY, where she played in Jazz Band and toured with the critically acclaimed Crane School of Music Wind Ensemble before graduating with a degree in marketing and economics. She has performed in professional summer theatre as an orchestra and cast member.

A supporter of the St. Louis entertainment scene, Barbara has served as Chairman of Performance Coordination/Artist Relations for the US Bank St. Louis Jazz Festival and the St. Louis Art Fair, has been a panelist for numerous entertainment industry conferences, including the Urban Network Conference in Palm Springs, CA, Inspired Music Entertainment Seminars, Hood Magazine Conference, Streetwise Entertainment and Missouri Black Expo. She was profiled as a "Woman on the Move" in The Flipside Newszine, October 2003, and is a faculty member for Fontbonne University's Sports and Entertainment Management program. As an attorney in Clayton, she practices in the areas of Entertainment Law and Domestic Relations. She is legal counsel for Notifi Music Group, which released R&B artist Ginuwine's comeback album on Asylum/Warner, as well as for Shorty da Kid, Atlantic recording artist and DJ on Hot 104.1, Universal Records artist Luey V, rapper Potzee, and for the St Louis based Derrty DJ's. In addition to helping entertainment clients with legal issues, she particularly enjoys facilitating contacts and opening doors for artists and labels to help them reach their career goals.
