Sarah Otte Graber is a Partner with Wood, Herron & Evans and is involved in all areas of trademark prosecution and litigation, copyright law and unfair competition. She was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1997 and joined Wood, Herron & Evans in 2001.

Prior to joining Wood, Herron and Evans, Sarah was a Trademark Examining Attorney at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office where she reviewed trademark applications for registration eligibility and advised attorneys and pro se applicants on a variety of prosecution matters. In that capacity, she examined approximately 3,000 trademark applications and trained other Examining Attorneys on all aspects of prosecuting trademark applications.   

Sarah also has considerable experience in U.S. and foreign trademark prosecution matters.  She has worked on and managed extensive trademark portfolios for clients. Sarah has significant experience in trademark clearance and monitoring and is very successful in prosecuting trademarks through to registration at the USPTO.  Additionally, Sarah has experience with mergers and acquisitions, ensuring that her clients' intellectual property is successfully transferred throughout the world.  She has given presentations regarding intellectual property matters. 

She graduated from Indiana University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Environmental Science.  She then obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1997, where she served as President of the Student Bar Association.
