Alex graduated cum laude from Marquette University Law School in 2011. While in law school she was a judicial intern on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit for Judge John L. Coffey. Alex was also an active member of Marquette’s Moot Court program in which she was a Moot Court competitor, student coach, and General Board member. Alex and her teammate were the winners of the 2010 Jenkins Honorary Moot Court Competition and the recipients of the Franz C. Eschweiler Award for Best Brief. Alex’s team also competed at the 2011 Evan A. Evan’s Constitutional Law Competition at which her team won second place for Best Petitioner’s Brief. As a law student, she was recognized with a C.A.L.I. Award for Excellence for Trusts & Estates Law and volunteered her time for VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance). Alex joined S&D in 2011 and is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
Alex received her undergraduate degree from Boston College in 2006 where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and was a four-year letter winner and captain of the Women's Varsity Alpine Ski Team. She began her legal career working as a litigation paralegal at one of Manhattan's top litigation firms before pursuing her J.D.
