Nick Goodling is an attorney with Stutes & Lavergne. Nick focuses his practice on real estate and corporate matters. He regularly counsels clients regarding real estate, finance, trusts and estates, contract, and general business matters. Nick’s practice involves real estate closings, complex contract negotiations, acquisitions, leasing, real estate development, finance, and general business advice.
Nick is also an agent for Stutes & Lavergne’s title insurance agency, Rock Solid Title. He handles residential and commercial closings, reviews title, and corrects title defects.
Nick has represented a wide range of clients, including individual homeowners, small business owners, four of the five largest financial institutions in the U.S., and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Stutes & Lavergne, Nick practiced in the Atlanta office of an international law firm where his practice focused on real estate and financing matters.
Nick received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2003. He earned a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia in 2000.
Nick is admitted to practice in Louisiana, Texas, and Georgia. He is a member of the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association and the Program Chair of the Judge Albert Tate, Jr. American Inns of Court. Nick lives in Lake Charles with his wife, Ashley, and their two children.
