Carlos E. Gonzalez is an associate at Ferrer Shane.  Mr. Gonzalez has experience in multiple areas of practice including criminal defense, personal injury, immigration, and foreclosure defense.  He currently concentrates his practice on foreclosure defense as well as criminal and traffic matters.

Miami born and raised, and a graduate of Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, Mr. Gonzalez obtained his undergraduate degree from Florida State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in English.  While at Florida State University, Mr. Gonzalez was a member of the Oscar Arias Sanchez Hispanic Honor Society as well as a recipient of the Florida State University College of Law’s Oral Advocacy Award.  Mr. Gonzalez received his law degree from the Barry University School of Law, where he was the recipient of a prestigious Book Award as well as a member of the Hispanic American Law Society and the Entertainment Law Society.

Mr. Gonzalez is admitted to practice before the Florida Supreme Court as well as all courts in and for the State of Florida and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.  He is also a member of the Cuban American Bar Association and the Dade County Bar Association.
